An ARPEGGIO means “in the style of a harp.” It is shown before a chord with a wavy line and the chord is played bottom to top notes separately and quickly. Example; a C chord would be played middle C – E – G- treble C and back without repeating the top C – G- E – middle C.
Any three note chord can be played as an arpeggio..
ARPEGGIO FINGERING:
Ascending Right Hand: 1 – 3 – 5 – 3 – 1 ascending and descending one octave; two octaves/ 1-3-(thumb under for next octave) 1-3-5 Descending 3-1 (hand over thumb) 3-1.
Ascending Left Hand: 5 – 3 – 1 – 3 – 5 ascending and descending one octave; two octaves/ 1-3-1 (hand over thumb) 3-1 Descending 3
