What is perfection? Cow 1 is not Cow 2. Perfection for Person 1 may not be the same for Person 2.

Trying to find THE PERFECT THEME for a blog is to me like searching for “a needle in a haystack.” Indecision is a quality that is usually foreign to me. It is very easy for me to choose what to wear or which food I want to eat at a restaurant or any other choice.

My mind is made up almost instantly. Shall I wear blue today or is my mood more red or black and white? I most often go with my gut reaction and the choice is rather simple. I do have favorites though, so I show up in a combination of black and white or all white or all black. This makes it easy to find a matching jacket or sweater to deal with air conditioning or cooler weather.

However, when it came time to choose a Theme for my WordPress blog, I went back and forth, looking at one theme after another. Nothing suited me. Due to a limited budget, I needed to be satisfied with the limited choices of FREE themes. These choices are, by nature, limited themselves, which makes complete sense. Other folks have businesses from which to make a profit also.

How I ever overlooked my final choice, I’m not sure. Anyway, I did overlook it during the many times I searched the WordPress themes. I even searched other websites for the perfect theme; Woo Themes and Elegant Themes. Their choices of FREE were even more sparse. I did discover the benefits of the paid themes however. They have much more flexibility and pizzazz!

When I finally became aware of and found the FREE WP Theme I am using now, some song lyrics popped through my brain, “I’ve got it, by Jove I’ve got it!” Think of an English accent for sure! My apology to the author of those lyrics, I cannot remember the song title or the show, if it was from a Broadway show. But I now have a fabulous theme and the simplicity of it is incredible!

It is a theme about writing and authors and what is my website about? Writing and authors, that’s what. Well really, singular author for right now. We soon hope to attract additional authors.

On with the show! it seems as though I have fond PERFECTION, at least for now and in this instance! I’m happy to have accomplished that. 🙂
